Evergreen Lahser 7/8

Evergreen Lahser 7/8

Homes in the Evergreen Lahser 7/8 community are traditional brick with established residents. There are two newly renovated parks, including one park with youth soccer and baseball fields, basketball court and picnic shed. Both parks include a walking path and seating for residents. The major streets are Seven and Eight Mile roads, just east of Telegraph Road, with Grand River and the Old Redford area to the south. The neighborhood has newly planted trees to retain the tree-lined street environment. Neighborhood amenities include the New Hope Development nonprofit housing corporation, a neighborhood-based housing and community development corporation; two supermarkets; the McKenny Center, which offers early Head Start, Head Start and family-centered programs; a church, two shopping plazas, and a major gated apartment complex; and a nursing home and adjacent nursing home facilities.
