WE ARE POLETOWN EAST
Poletown is a neighborhood on Detroit's east side. The name refers to the fact that it was a center of Detroit's large Polish population, though most of the Poles have since moved to neighboring Hamtramck and other Detroit suburbs. Poletown today is more or less bounded by I-94 to the north, Mt. Elliott to the east, Mack to the south and St. Aubin to the west.
